Terms of Service

Effective September 30, 2026

Quest Online is operated by Wesware YTJ in Finland. These Terms cover your use of its website and online game. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these Terms.

Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old, or any higher minimum age required where you live, to create an account or play Quest Online. If you are under 18 or below the legal age of adulthood where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review these Terms and the Privacy Policy with you and agree to your use of the game.

Your account

Choose an appropriate account and character name, keep your password private, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not impersonate another person or a member of the game staff.

If you believe someone else has accessed your account, stop using the compromised password and contact us. Staff will never ask you to disclose your password in chat.

Fair play and player conduct

Play fairly and treat other players with respect. You must not:

• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or share private information about another person.
• Post unlawful content, spam, scams, or material that infringes someone else's rights.
• Use cheats, bots, unauthorized automation, or exploits to gain an unfair advantage.
• Interfere with the game, attack its systems, bypass access controls, or access another player's account.
• Sell accounts or trade game items or currency for real money without our permission.

If you discover a bug or exploit, report it rather than using it to affect other players or the game economy.

Moderation and enforcement

We may remove inappropriate content, reverse exploited progress or transactions, restrict features, or suspend or close accounts when needed to enforce these Terms, protect players, or comply with the law. We consider the seriousness and circumstances of the conduct. Contact us if you believe an action against your account was a mistake.

The game and your progress

We give you permission to access and play Quest Online for personal entertainment while you follow these Terms. The game, artwork, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Game accounts, characters, items, and currency are part of the service and have no guaranteed real-world value.

You retain any rights you have in messages you submit. You give us permission to transmit and display those messages to the intended recipients and handle them as needed to run and moderate the game.

Availability and changes

Quest Online is an evolving game. We may update its features, balance, content, or technical requirements. Maintenance, faults, or other events may interrupt access, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or preservation of every item or piece of progress. We may stop providing the game, subject to any obligations the law places on us.

Subscriptions and purchases

When paid features are offered, a subscription may be required to play beyond the starting zone, and the shop may offer separate items or consumables. The price, currency, taxes, billing interval, and what you receive will be shown before you pay. Stripe processes payments. You must be authorized to use the payment method and provide accurate billing details.

If you choose a recurring subscription, it renews at the disclosed interval until canceled. You can manage or cancel it through Billing. The checkout and billing screens explain when cancellation ends access and any trial or renewal conditions. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals; it does not by itself refund an earlier payment. Payment failures, refunds, or disputes may affect paid access or items associated with that payment.

Refunds and leaving the game

Refund eligibility and any conditions for digital items or consumed purchases will be explained before checkout. Contact us about an incorrect charge or a purchase that was not delivered. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory cancellation, consumer, or refund rights.

You can stop playing at any time. You can delete your account through My Account on the character-selection screen. Account deletion also deletes your characters and cannot be undone.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle account information, gameplay records, messages, and browser storage.

Responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the game is provided as available without a guarantee that it will be error-free or meet every expectation. We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Updates to these Terms

When we change these Terms, we will update the effective date on this page. For material changes affecting your rights or how you use the game, we will provide an appropriate notice before the changes take effect where required.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Finnish law. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protections or rights you have under the laws where you live.
